Viewpoint of Casa de Goa

In the parish of Estrela, we find the Viewpoint of Casa de Goa¹ located thirty metres ahead of Viewpoint of Largo das Necessidades², elaborated over an old, yet restored building’s terrace, owned by the non-profit organization Casa de Goa, accessible by Calçada do Livramento.

The perspective is almost the same as the viewpoint behind it, however, a little narrower in respect due to its lower height and consequently, to the landscape barrier imposed by the neighbouring roofs.

However, this site also has a perspective behind its own standing point, and from here we can sight Vale de Alcântara³ – current Avenida de Ceuta⁴ – Serra do Monsanto⁵ and Cemitério dos Prazeres⁶. Once again, the biggest attraction of this Viewpoint, is the Ponte 25 de Abril⁷ highlighted over the Rio Tejo⁸.
