It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Cascais.

Praia do Abano Beach has a reasonable sized sand surrounded by a cliff.
On top of the south cliff arises the .
During heavy rainfall the Ribeira do Arneiro2 empties at this place.
There's a well defined string of pebbles next to the cliff.
Access is done by Estrada Nacional 2473, turning north to Estrada do Abano. Once here, one'll find a stairway on the cliff south face.
