It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Mafra.

Praia da Calada Beach, also known as Praia do Porto da Calada Beach, has an extensive and wide sand with the shape of a seashell. It's situated in a cove that together with the cliffs flanking it, provide shelter from the wind.
The north and south ends of the beach are dominated by rocks.
On top of the cliff there's a tracery pattern because of some houses and farm fields.
In the middle of the central cliff slope is located the support car parking.
Access is tarred and connects with Estrada Nacional 2471.
