It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Peniche.

Praia do Baleal (North) Beach discloses a very extensive sand with about 1,2 Km.
The sea presents itself very agitated to the many surfers who often come here.
A beach very exposed to winds, is bounded north by a rocky cliff tip that extends into sea waters and on the opposite side, at south, it is bounded by 1.
To the east, the scenery is a mix of housing and farm land.
Access is done via Intinerário Principal 62, exiting at Atouguia da Baleia into Ferrel direction.
