It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Pombal.

Praia do Osso da Baleia Beach presents a very extensive sand with about 9,3 Km, covering the entire shoreline of Pombal county and being its only beach.
A dune system proudly showing off its dunes of large dimensions, is untouched by human action.
To the east, far beyond where eyes can see lies the Mata Nacional do Urso1, planted in the fifteenth and sixteenth-centuries in order to provide wood for building caravels and hold the dunes on the beach.
The access is achieved by Rua do Osso da Baleia2, beginning near Alhais village.
