It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Póvoa de Varzim.

Praia do Leixão Beach, also known as Praia Redonda Beach, is the most southern sandy strip of county.
The beach has a thicker type than other beaches nearby. Here, rock formations totally nonexistent, both in land and sea.
To the south lies a pier belonging to the facilities of 1 and the fishing harbor, imposing itself to the landscape with its nearly 750 meters length.
Access is granted via Avenida dos Banhos2 or by Avenida dos Descobrimentos3 if coming from south.
