It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Tavira.

Praia de Cabanas (Sea) Beach presents a very wide-ranging sand of about 2,6 Km.
It lies at 1 at the sea front of the village sharing the same name, in 2 (a valley eroded by rivers and with sandy islands which is flooded by the sea, turning the water into brackish) lands.
From the island quay it's possible to contemplate 3 on the opposite margin, also known as Forte de São João4 or Forte de São João da Barra5.
Access is by boat as it is necessary to cross the Canal de Tavira6 to enter this small paradise.
