It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila Real de Santo António (East).

Praia de Monte Gordo Beach has a very extensive sand of about 1,4 Km, west bounded by the eastern area of the Viveiro Florestal de Monte Gordo1.
The pedestrian sea side road, with about half kilometer, delights all bathers.
At this beach, average seawater temperatures are the highest of . This area is a great tourist attraction of that began to arise in the 60's.

    Maravillosa. Pero hay gente salvaje que va dejando toda su basura. Ayer mismo en un paseo de una hora por la bajamar, hice fotos a 22 objetos, bolsas de basura, latas de refrescos...¿cómo pueden ser tan sucios y tan poco cuidadosos? ¿En sus casas también lo van tirando todo al suelo?
