It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Grândola.

Praia da Aberta Nova Beach displays a very extensive sand of about 3,6 Km.
The high dunes have green deep vegetation on their top.
At this beach empties by the central area the Ribeira das Fontainhas1.
Near the car parking there's a viewpoint to enjoy the beautiful landscape.
Access is done by a stairway followed by wooden walkways until the bathing area.
