It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Grândola.

Praia do Pêgo Beach has a vast sand of about 4 Km long.
The dune system is filled with the green of vegetation.
Sea waters are calm and of a clear crystal blue.
The car parking is large and the length of the very long walkway that leads to the bathing area stays in memory.
Access is done by the exit of Estrada Regional 2611 towards west until Lagoa Formosa village.
