What is Praia de Valmitão Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lourinhã.

Praia de Valmitão Beach has a very long sand of about 1,5 Km which is bathed by a rough sea.
On the south cliff there are partial traces of an iron incineration necropolis, dating from the sixth-century before .
This beach is very much sought by surfers and underwater fishermen.
Access is done through Ribamar town, entering Estrada de Valmitão1 into west direction that culminates in the support car parking, at the central area.
