About the Beach

What is Praia do Vale dos Frades Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lourinhã.

Praia do Vale dos Frades Beach, also known Praia da Areia Branca (North) Beach, presents a very extensive strip of sand. It is located in the sea front of village.
The cliff top resembles a motley due to the pattern created by several agricultural fields.
This beach is very demanded by scuba dive and underwater fishing enthusiasts.
There are three open wide areas for car parking on top of the cliff.
Access is available through the north side or by the south neighbor beach.
