It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vagos.

Praia da Vagueira Beach is integrated in the sea front of a village holding the same name.
A little wide and very extensive sand finds itself smaller and smaller to the point of disappearing under sea water during high tide because of the strong erosion effects.
The seawall with 630 meters length and the southern pier prevent the sea advance over the houses.
This beach is very attended by the guests of Parque de Campismo Orbitur Vagueira1.
