It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vagos.

Praia do Areão Beach discloses a very extensive sand that is bounded south by a curved pier. A few hundred meters towards east, ends the most southern branch of the 1.
This beach is routinely visited by nature lovers who have at their disposal a very vast car parking.
The access is done through an impressive walkways network, protecting effectively the dune system.
