About the Beach

What is Praia da Pipa Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Aljezur.

Praia da Pipa Beach has an extensive and very narrow strip of sand that stays practically all immersed during high tide. It is also known as Praia do Medo da Pipa Beach.
There's a string of pebbles along the bottom of the cliff and rocky formations in the bathing area. The top is filled with dune vegetation.
The access goes through a dirt road that follows south beside the cliff, coming from Praia de Monte Clérigo village.
