It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Aljezur.

Praia de Odeceixe (Sea) Beach has an extensive and large sand, located 3 Km west from village. At north, empties the 1.
This is the most northern beach of all . It's flanked by cliffs.
The vacationers can choose where to bath, since the river has enough flow to be a valid alternative.
When the tide is emptying, it's necessary to take precautions in order to avoid the strong currents, specially where the stream mouth meets the Atlantic Ocean.
