It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sintra.

Praia de São Julião Beach also known as Praia da Foz do Falcão Beach, has a sand of medium dimensions. It extends about 600 meters to south in the shape of a strip, beside a cliff. There´s another cliff bounding the beach at north. Here, the sea is usually agitated.
Here, the Ribeira do Falcão1 is the natural border between and counties.
There are two parking lots and an open wide area that serve the beach users.
Access is done through Assafora village by Estrada de São Julião2 or via Estrada Municipal 5463.
