It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Viana do Castelo.

Praia do Cabedelo Beach, also known as Praia de Norte Darque Beach, is divided in two sandy areas. The north area, medium sized, is located in a sandbank and part of the south margin of the 1 mouth.
The south sandy part is very big and lies outside the river bar, next to the bigger pier.
There's a dune system adjacent to the bathing area.
The car parking is quite generous.
