It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Vila do Bispo.

Praia do Castelejo Beach has a very long sand beside the mouth of a small stream.
At north it is bounded by the Pedra da Laje1, where anglers often go. At south stands the 2, a viewpoint on top of the highest cliff of the entire Algarve coast, with 156 meters high.
This beach is more crowded than its neighboring one and a place of choice by surfers.
