About the Beach

What is Praia da Bonança Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Esposende.

Praia da Bonança Beach has a very extensive sand, north bounded by a pier which aims to break the force of the current and provide quieter baths.
A lengthy dune system has built on one of its dunes the 1, dated from sixteenth-century.
The access is available by exiting from Estrada Nacional 132 to Rua Capitão Jorge Larcher3, following straight ahead to Rua da Bonança4 until reaching the beach. Car parking is done along the last mentioned street.
