It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Esposende.

Praia de Rio de Moinhos Beach has an extensive sand with presence of some pebbles.
To the east lie several farm fields which dominate landscape.
The beach, very exposed to elements and without any natural or artificial protection, is very appreciated by surfers.
Here, empties the Ribeira do Peralto1.
There's a large open area utilized for parking cars.
Access is done by turning west in the crossroad with Rua da Nossa Senhora das Neves2, at Estrada Nacional 133.
