It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Loulé.

Praia da Quinta do Lago Beach presents a very long sand of about 3,6 Km. It's located at the sea side of Quinta do Lago luxury resort.
This place with plenty of fauna and flora has a vast dune system that keeps 1 (a valley eroded by rivers and with sandy islands which is flooded by the sea, turning the water into brackish) waters away from the sea waters.

Access is achieved by a pedestrian wooden bridge with 319 meters long, over the west side of Ria Formosa.
