It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Loulé.

Praia do Garrão (West) Beach, also known as Praia das Dunas Douradas Beach, presents a very long sand.
A few more than 200 meters away from the ocean is Lagoa das Dunas Douradas1 surrounded by several animal species, namely, birds.
The beach is bounded by the facilities of , at west.
Access goes through the interior of Vale do Lobo urbanization, next to Dunas Douradas Beach Club tourist resort.
