What is Praia de Loulé Velho Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Loulé.

Praia de Loulé Velho Beach has a long sand northeast flanked by a small cliff with a pinewood on top.
At west the beach is bounded by Lagoa da Foz da Ribeira do Almargem1. At east, the pinewood gets replaced by swampy land and so does the cliff for a dune system.
There are ruins of ancient roman salting tanks in this place.
Diving fans can find traces of an old Carthaginian fishermen village.
