About the Beach

What is Praia do Cavalo Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sesimbra.

Praia do Cavalo Beach, also known as Praia dos Calhaus Beach, is located at the bottom of a steep cliff, north of the 1. Here, the sand is nonexistent.
It is a very dangerous beach for having landslides constantly. On the opposite side of the rocky cliff that north bounds it, there's the 2.
On top of the cliff, beside Estrada Nacional 3793, lies the 4.
Access is exclusively achieved by sea.
