It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sesimbra.

Praia do Moinho de Baixo Beach, usually known as Praia do Meco Beach, has an extensive sand. Sea water is mainly rough and frequently has strong waves breaking on shore. Its rip currents are extremely known.
The Ribeira de Amieira1 (further north) and the Ribeira da Laje2 empty in this shore line.
This is the most famous beach in Portugal for naturism practice. This notoriety brought common folk here and led the naturists to the southern sands.
The access comes from either or villages.

    Excelente local , com dunas fosseis cheias de historia...desde o Mioceno, Plioceno, que estes estratos existem como escudos naturais ao oceano...
