About the Beach

What is Praia do Torrado Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lagoa.

Praia do Torrado Beach, also known as Praia do Vale da Azinhaga Beach, owns a reasonably sized sand, surrounded by the cliff and the sea waters.
The landscape is dominated by two tiny rock islands that emerge from the ocean: the smaller one is near the beach and the biggest, named Leixão da Gaivota1, is about 170 meters away from the shore.
At west there's the 2 on top of the promontory sharing the same name.
Access is via the east neighboring beach.
