About the Beach

What is Praia do Vale Espinhaço Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lagoa.

Praia do Vale Espinhaço Beach presents a small sand located on a recess by a cliff with an extension of about 120 meters.
At west, on the top of the promontory may be sighted the Farol de Alfanzina1. At east, about 100 meters away from the shore, stands a boulder beside the cliff.
This area, known for its several sea caves that delight all tourists, is accessed by sea.
