About the Beach

What is Praia do Vale Currais Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Lagoa.

Praia do Vale Currais Beach has almost no sand where rock formations predominate.
About 80 meters from the shore is a beautiful islet.
The access is through a wooden ladder tied by ropes located at the bottom of the valley with the same name as the beach. When accessing via sea, it's advisable extreme caution due to the numerous rocks hidden on the bottom while approaching the beach.
