It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Albufeira.

Praia da Falésia (Açoteias) Beach has a very extensive sand of about 1 Km.
The orange and whitish cliff offers a landscape of vivid colors. The foot is full of vegetation and the top fulfilled by Jardins da Falésia apartments. A bit more to the west are the facilities of .
The access is via a stairway coming from the car parking, which is too small to support such a long beach, so crowded during the high season.
