About the Beach

What is Praia da Vigia Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Albufeira.

Praia da Vigia Beach, inserted in Praia dos Arrifes Beach, has a small sized sand that splits into two during high tide. It's located in a small cove facing east. It is also known as Praia da Sardinha Beach.
Access goes via a trail through a ravine on the cliff but the beach can also be visited coming from the surrounding beaches sands during low tide.
