About the Beach

What is Praia do Arrifão Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Albufeira.

Praia do Arrifão Beach major feature is the absence of sand. Here proliferate several rock formations and stones from landslides.
The highlights go for the big islet 35 meters off shore and a cave on the cliff, at the eastern end of the beach.
Access is done by a rudimentary stairway made of wood and rope.
