About the Beach

What is Praia do Malhão (Centro) Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Odemira.

Praia do Malhão (Center) Beach has a very long sand, east bounded by an extremely large dune system and of a rare beauty, known as Dunas do Malhão1. Bounding it at south, there are several rocky formations of large dimensions, known in Portuguese by "Galés".
This beach is considerably remote and practically untouched by Man.
The access is done by exiting Estrada Municipal 3022 to Estrada Municipal 10723, towards sea direction.
