About the Beach

What is Praia do Patacho Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Odemira.

Praia do Patacho Beach has a small sized sand located at the bottom of a cliff.
Here are discharged the channeled waters of ETAR de Vila Nova de Milfontes1, situated a few meters to north.
At the south area lies the shipwreck of Klemens, the Dutch towing ship with 17 meters long, that ran aground on the . Still in this area exists a natural arc formed in the rock and used to access a smaller sandy area.
