About the Beach

What is Praia da Engardaceira Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sines.

Praia da Engardaceira Beach, also known as Praia da Bica Vermelha Beach is located in a bay facing southwest whose format is similar to a seashell. It is very well protected from the wind.
The little sand here existent is mixed with pebbles and rocks.
Sea waters are a bit rough due to the waves breaking against offshore rocks.
The access is done via a recess on the cliff at the central area.
