It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Sines.

Praia Grande de Porto Covo Beach presents a sand of medium extension and very wide. It's located at the northwestern end of village.
This is one of the most well know and crowded beaches of the region, during high season.
It's common to see surfers on these waters.
There are two accesses situated on opposite sides of the beach's eastern part. The support car parking is very large.
