About the Beach

What is Praia da Barra da Fuseta Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Olhão.

Praia da Barra da Fuseta Beach presents a very wide sand.
Is located at a sandbank at the east end of 1, in the middle of the 2 (a valley eroded by rivers and with sandy islands which is flooded by the sea, turning the water into brackish). There is no dune system in this beautiful place.
This is an uncrowded beach, perfect for those who search for quiet and communion with nature.
Access is via boat.
