It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Figueira da Foz.

Praia do Alto do Viso Beach is one of the sandy areas belonging to the urban sand known as Praia da Claridade Beach.
The extensive and wide sand is bounded in its ends by two watercourses: to the north, by the Ribeira da Várzea1 and to the south, by a small stream around which was built a showy infrastructure known as the "Oásis". Here, a restaurant and palm trees are iconic symbols of this beach at .
There are several parking spaces all along Avenida do Brasil2.
History lovers can visit the walls in ruins of the 3, right beyond the sea side road first housing row, at Rua Fernão de Magalhães4.
