It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Figueira da Foz.

Praia do Cabedelo (South) Beach has a very long sand strip, bounded north by the lengthy pier belonging to the 1 bar. In the southern area exists another pier, this time a smaller one.
The stirred sea waters are sought very often by surf fans.
The access is done via Itinerário Complementar 1, exiting on the roudabout before the bridge, to Rua Luís Q. Santiago3.
