It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Figueira da Foz.

Praia do Cabedelo Beach, also known as Praia do Cabedelinho Beach, is part of the 1 bar by the south margin.
The extensive sand is found side by side with a wide dune system in good condition.
Calm sea waters bath this beach due to the position inside the river bar and the protection provided by two piers bounding it.
Close by, one finds Parque de Campismo do Cabedelo2.
On the opposite side of the river arises the 3 and 4.
