About the Beach

What is Praia das Águas Luxuosas Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Alcobaça (North).

Praia das Águas Luxuosas Beach presents a very extensive sand, located in the base of a slightly pronounced valley. At its end one finds a freshwater spring in a cavity of the long cliff here existing.
The access is achieved by Estrada Nacional 242, turning west to Falca village direction. From here, one has to follow north through Estrada Oceânica Sul for about 1,1 Km. At the end of the trip lies a dirt road ending near a small group of houses that leads to the beach.
