About the Beach

What is Praia Verde Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Castro Marim.

Praia Verde Beach was called this way because of its vast green pinewood that extends from the dunes to 1.
The sand is wide and so is the dune string.
Seawater is warm and calm.
In this place there are ruins from the beginning of the XX century that used to be considered as roman ruins.
Access goes through the national road, exiting at the urbanization that crosses the pinewood.
