It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Almada.

Nova Praia Beach presents a thin strip of sand that gets a little wider at the south. It's located into Vila da Costa geographic unit.
During high tide, the north and center sandy areas stay immersed. The beach is north bounded by a pier.
This is the place where the sea side pedestrian road with bike lane of town ends.
The first train stop, number 2, of the is situated here.
