It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Almada.

Praia de Santo António da Caparica Beach has a long strip of sand that gets considerably smaller during high tide. It's flanked by two pontoons.
This waters are often sought by surf fans.
At east, with direct access to the beach, stand the facilities of PNEC - Parque Nacional de Escotismo da Caparica1.
