It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Almada.

Praia do Tarquínio-Paraíso Beach displays a long strip of sand much of which gets immersed during high tide. It's located in Vila da Costa geographic unit. Just like its neighboring beaches, it's bounded at the ends by two piers used by anglers.
Further south there's a ramp to put fishing boats into the water.
This beach is known for being in front of a famous restaurant named O Barbas.
