About the Beach

What is Praia da Trafaria Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Almada.

Praia da Trafaria Beach has a long stretch of sand that belongs to the 1 mouth by the south side. It is located at the urban sea front of a fishing village with the same name.
Sand and sea waters are used by fishermen to collect their vessels.
The dry bulk food warehouses and the cargo terminal dominate the landscape due to their huge size.
The view over and the iconic Torre de Belém2 are the main attractions.
