About the Beach

What is Praia do Bairro Piscatório Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Espinho.

Praia do Bairro Piscatório Beach belongs to the southern sea front of . It acquired this name because of being located opposite of the fishermen neighborhood, meaning of "Bairro Piscatório" in Portuguese. Therefore, many sea vessels occupy regularly these sands.
To the north, one finds the 1.
At center, empties the Ribeira de Silvalde2 whose stone structure guides its course, dividing the sand into two. Further south, the bathing area is more pleasant.
The beach has two piers bounding the sandy area with about 1,1 Km.
