About the Beach

What is Praia de Cortegaça (Norte) Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Ovar.

Praia de Cortegaça (North) Beach owns a thin and very long strip of sand.
To the north it is bounded by a pier and to the south, by the seawall which accompanies its whole length and extends along the sea front of Praia de Cortegaça village.
The sea is agitated and billowy many times.
Access is done by Rua dos Pescadores1 if one comes from north or, via Rua Frederico Ulrich2 if coming from south.
