It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Ovar.

Praia de Esmoriz Beach, also known as Praia da Barrinha, belongs to the northern sea front of Praia de Esmoriz village. At the beach entrance, there's a fine monument in tribute to the traditional art of 1.
A very extensive sand of about 1,8 Km is bounded north by a pier, beside ETAR de Espinho2 and Aeródromo de Espinho3. To the south it is bounded by a similar pier that serves as fishing spot for anglers.
In the center part one finds Lagoa de Paramos4 which is rich in biodiversity and , responsible for connecting sea and lagoon.
