About the Beach

What is Praia do Rio Alto Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Póvoa de Varzim.

Praia do Rio Alto Beach presents a very far-reaching sand, paired with the southern half of . It is very attended by naturists.
The dune system rises until the fence of the golf course facilities on top of it.
Access is granted by coming from Estrada Nacional 131, going to Rua da Fontaínha2 towards west. Nearly reaching the golf course one turns left and the journey ends near football field.
